Borderlands/Southwest History at UA

Located in southern Arizona some 90 miles from the U.S./Mexico border, the University of Arizona has long been known for its expertise in borderlands studies, including the history of the U.S. Southwest and northern Mexico. Department of History faculty and graduate students participate in a range of academic programs, including Latin American History, Latin American Studies, Mexican American Studies, and Anthropology's Southwest Land, Culture & Society program.
